Mu Sigma Sigma Charitable & Educational Foundation (MSSCEF)

The Mu Sigma Sigma Charitable & Educational Foundation (MSSCEF) serves as the charitable arm of the Mu Sigma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Established May 26, 2019, MSSCEF is a 501(c)(3) organization and supports Mu Sigma Sigma's service programs which focus on youth empowerment, health and wellness, and educational enrichment. MSSCEF also provides scholarships to deserving and exemplary college-bound high school seniors and continuing college students in the Eastern Arkansas area.

       Our core program is The Golden Literacy Project.  The purpose of this Assault on Illiteracy program is to empower youth by cultivating strong reading, writing, and communication skills that serve as the foundation for lifelong learning and leadership. Through engaging workshops, mentorship, and culturally relevant materials, the program aims to:           

             *Foster a love for reading and self-expression

              *Strengthen academic confidence and performance

              *Build bridges between generations through storytelling and shared experiences

              *Create a supportive community where youth feel seen, heard, and inspired to lead
